In the KIR Community Centre, we teach children to Code, because coding is the language of the future. In some States in America like Florida Coding has been approved as a foreign language. It has also been recognized as one of the five skills for children to learn in the 21st century alongside; communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking, which by the way are some of other skills children learn when they code. The children who are members of our digital club are doing better academically. I am a strong advocate that every child should learn to code because it not only helps improve their mathematics and writing skills but also gives them valuable skills in life and eventually in the workforce. There are various reasons why coding is important to learn and why coding should be taught in schools from an early age. The early children learn to code, the better their chance at success. - Bitebo Gogo August 12, 2021 1

Yeah, it's better they start at early stage to practice what they love doing and what they are passionate of doing as a profession for employment.

Yes, coding is embedded in the human day to day living either recognized or not.

Coding is an essential skill if one must thrive in the 21st century and therefore, teaching children coding at a tender age, I would say it's the best investment any parent can give to their children.
