LEARN: HOME BASED COMMUNITY EDUCATION CHAMPIONS NETWORK
STUDENTS EDUCATION DISRUPTED BY COVID-19, LOCAL LEADERS TRAINED EDUCATORS/CAREGIVERS ARE MAKING PROGRESS TO PROVIDE INCLUSIVE & EQUITABLE QUALITY EDUCATION ACTIVITIES AT HOME TO THIS CHILDREN FROM ALL AGE'S; TO ACHIEVED SDG: 3,4 & 5 IN THEIR COMMUNITIES IN ADAMAWA, GOMBE AND TARABA STATE NIGERIA.

Bio

For the last 10 years, Adetayo has worked as an educator, researcher and project coordinator at Federal College Of Education (FCE) Yola. Adetayo advocate for the local Education Department in Federal Ministry of Education to implement a policy that ensures schools make up for the days lost due to gang violence etc. He also work with local government departments to identify the reasons girls drop out early. Adetayo uses this research to present a proposal to the municipal government to create a local education offices focused on increasing enrolment and retention rates. Adetayo also conduct community-level girls’ education awareness campaigns, encouraging families to send girls to school.
Adetayo is the Founder of Project "LEARN: HOME BASED COMMUNITY EDUCATION CHAMPIONS NETWORK" As COVID-19 threatens to force millions more children out of school, Champion-led programmes and advocacy work is now even more important. Where the volunteer champions educators/caregivers will also identify out-of-school children affected by covid-19 schools shutdown and help them reenrol in school through our home based community lesson's.
